ORR Club House One Step Closer !

The Ottawa River Runners dream of having a new clubhouse is one step closer to reality. ORR President Doug Corkery announced to members that the National Capital Commission is reviewing the final design and that installation of the clubhouse will take place in October. The actual construction will take place off-site during September. If all goes well the current storage bins will be removed in early November with additional landscaping and signage completed in late fall and early spring.

A ground breaking ceremony is being planned for the fall with the official opening to coincide with the 2017 National Whitewater Championships being held in Ottawa next August long weekend.

Congratulations to ORR for the dedication, perseverance, and commitment in making this important project happen.

Watch for further details.
