Ontario Summer Race Series 2012


1. MKC Downriver Sprint - Wed July 18th noon

2. MKC Open Canoe Slalom - Wed July 18th 1 pm

3. MKC Slalom - Thurs July 19th 10:00am Chalet rapids

4.  Gull Cadet & Novice Slalom Sat July 21st 10:00am Lower Gull

5. Gull AOB Boater Cross Saturday July 21st 2pm Dam to below Horseshoe Falls

6. Gull Andrew Westlake Sunday Slalom - July 22nd 10:00am (above falls)*

 * If water levels insufficient, the Westlake race MAY be rescheduled to Saturday afternoon

 Wires and Gates to be hung Thursday am/Fri am  - all athletes expected to assist

Open training Fri pm, and Saturday am (above falls), and full course after completion of novice race

 Solid water levels anticipated all week for athletes planning to arrive early, with fixed release at 19-20cms scheduled Friday 9:30-3:30 and Saturday 9:30-3:30

 BBQ dinner Saturday evening 6pm at Gull




Come to Ontario in July for a mini race series with slalom, down river and boater cross

Accommodation Both race sites have beautiful, wooded campsites for tents and RVs (no hook-ups). Please contact race organizer
directly to reserve your camping spot. Local motel and inns can be found online:

Meals: The Madawaska Kanu Centre is well known for their meals,which can be an option if pre-arranged.

At the Gull River, you will need to provide your own meals. Restaurant and grocery stores are a 10 km drive from the race site.
